Janesville's police chief wants more media attention on drunk driving
Podcast Episode
WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on police chief's plan for more media reports on felony drunk driving suspects
Janesville Police Chief Dave Moore is asking media outlets to report on the arrests of felony drunk drivers.
Moore asks the names and mugshots of any fourth time or more offender be publicly released. Moore says this could help prompt social change regarding drunk driving, and also help residents better protect themselves.
He says this initiative goes well with "Project Sober Streets", which can be found on the police department's page of the City of Janesville website.
