Cambridge hips Craig soccer team
JANESVILLE Janesville Craig High School’s boys soccer team broke a long scoreless drought Saturday but came up short in a nonconference game against Cambridge.
Ben Hoppman’s unassisted goal with ten minutes left to play lifted Cambridge to a 2-1 win.
Craig (3-14-1) tied the game at the 65th minute on Drew Whitaker’s goal off a penalty kick.
The Cougars host crosstown rival Janesville Parker in a Big Eight Conference game Tuesday night.
