Janesville Jets’ Kujava earns NAHL award
JANESVILLE Tony Kujava and the Janesville Jets opened the 2011-12 NAHL season with a bang.
Kujava was stellar in the net in leading the Jets to the NAHL Showcase Classic title in Blaine, Minn.
In posting a 4-0 record, Kujava allowed only three goals in four games. He finished with a 96.9 saves percentage and his goals against average was 0.75.
“I thought Tony played very well,” Janesville coach Dane Litke said. “He has stayed patient and worked his way into the starting role. His performance was a big reason behind our success at the Showcase.”
