Jets go 4-0 in Showcase

— The Janesville Jets finished 4-0 at the NAHL Showcase on Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Kenai River, Alaska.

Jets goalie Tony Kujava recorded 20 saves to earn the win. Kujava stopped 104 of the 107 shots he faced in the Showcase.

After a scoreless first period, Kenai River struck first with Sean Muller’s goal 2:06 into the second. Janesville responded at 15:46 of the second period on Pijus Rulevicius’ power-play goal.

Kanai River went ahead, 2-1, with Miikeal Arkimo’s goal less than a minute later, before the Jets’ Jordan Bancroft scored to tie the game at 2-2 after two periods.

Janesville’s Adam Frank and Zach Adams scored third-period goals.

The Jets were 2-for-8 on the power play, while Kenai River was 0-for-6.
