Social media is making it easier for domestic abuse to cross state lines, and Representative Amy Loudenbeck from Clinton wants to give victims more rights.

The Republican has authored the Personal Jurisdiction bill, which could make it easier for victims to initiate restraining orders. Loudenbeck says the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence approached her with the idea.

A public hearing is set for next Thursday at the Capital.
