Arrests

n PATRISHA M. NAVA GARCIA, 30, of 319 S. Academy St., Janesville, at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday at 1121 Johnson St., Janesville, on charges of felony battery to a police officer, resisting/obstructing an officer, battery and disorderly conduct.


n A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY, at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department, referred to juvenile authorities on charges of burglary and theft.


Reported

n TWO TEACHERS ASSAULTED by an 8-year-old boy, at 11:54 a.m. Friday at Wilson Elementary School, 465 Rockport Road, Janesville. The child was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of assault and disorderly conduct. The report does not list any injuries.


Intoxicated driving arrests


n ROBERT H. WILLIAMS, 74, of 1505 Tyler St., Janesville, at 11:52 p.m. Thursday at South Fremont Street and Vista Avenue, Janesville.


n MACARIO A. REYES, 30, of 1111 Roosevelt Ave., Beloit, at 1:24 a.m. Friday on Crosby Avenue at Wall Street, Janesville.


Accidents

n JACKSON STREET AND DELAVAN DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday. A vehicle driven by Thomas J. McNelly, 58, Marshall, was westbound on Delavan Drive when he allegedly ran a red light and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Baby Leavy, 80, of 202 S. Academy St., Janesville, in the intersection. McNelly was cited for running a red light. Leavy was cited for operating while revoked and was in good condition Thursday at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. A passenger, Jesse J. Leavy, 71, same address, also was treated and released at Mercy.


Charged

n JOSEPH A. GORRELL, 21, of 1156 Elm St., Beloit, on Thursday of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He is accused of inappropriately touching a young girl he knows.


n ROBERTO M. TORRES, 1824 Garden Drive, Janesville, on Thursday of battery and false imprisonment, a felony.
