Parker nipped in the pool

MADISON — Janesville Parker High School girls swim team fell to host Madison East, 88-82, Friday in a Big Eight Conference meet.

Parker’s Hailey Leisten won the 200 freestyle in 2 minutes, 22.17 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 1:00.26 for two of the Vikings’ three victories. Leisten, Sara Gosline, Melissa Holmes and Leslie Jones combined to win the 400 freestyle relay in 4:17.0.

Parker (0-3) competes the Elkhorn Invitational today.
