Craig wins third Big Eight meet

JANESVILLE — Janesville Craig High School girls swimming team defeated visiting Beloit Memorial, 123-47, Friday for its third straight Big Eight Conference dual meet victory.

The Cougars won eight of the 11 events to improve to 3-0 in the Big Eight. Craig senior Kali Schneider won the 200 individual medley in 2 minutes, 18.53 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.37.

“It was a real consistent meet for us,” Craig coach Brian Kitzman said. “We are very pleased with the results.’’

The Cougars compete today in Wauwautosa East Invitational.
