Monona Grove High School’s football team continued its march toward a third straight Badger South championship by easing past Monroe, 28-0, Friday night.
The Silver Eagles improved to 4-0 for the season and remained in a first-place tie with Madison Edgewood and Fort Atkinson at 2-0 in the conference.
James Connor rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns to lead MG’s shutout of winless Monroe (0-4, 0-1).
