Janesville Parker’s volleyball team had no answer for Big Eight Conference powerhouse Middleton on Thursday night.

The visiting Cardinals swept the Vikings, 3-0, winning by scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-15.

“Middleton’s got a lot of club kids that have been playing together for awhile,” Parker coach Dave Lehmann said. “We could keep the ball in play with them, but they always seemed to end up winning the point.”

Ashley Hartwig had 13 kills for Parker, while Natalie McDonald added 12 digs.
