Janesville Parker doubles team improves to 14-0

VERONA — Maddie Theisen and Kristin Zeilinger remained undefeated at No. 1 doubles but Janesville Parker lost, 6-1, Tuesday to Verona in Big Eight Conference girls tennis.

Theisen-Zeilinger improved to 5-0 and 14-0 overall. The Vikings fell to 1-4 in Big Eight duals.

“Verona is probably the best team we’ve played top to bottom,” Parker coach Justin Long said. “We were not able to keep pace.’’

Parker hosts Middleton at 4:15 p.m. today.

Craig fell to 3-3 in the Big Eight.

Craig plays at Middleton at 4 p.m. Thursday.
