Junior quarterback Danny Supernaw did it all Friday in Delavan-Darien High School’s 49-26 victory over Elkhorn in Southern Lakes football.

Supernaw completed 12 of 17 passes for 186 yards and four touchdowns and ran 10 times for 199 yards and two touchdowns as the Comets (2-1) began their conference title defense.

The Comets’ David Figueroa caught TD passes from Supernaw for 20, 25 and 11 yards. Marcus Hudson grabbed a 15-yard TD pass.

Supernaw added touchdown runs of 15 and 47 yards. He gained 285 of the Comets’ 506 yards of total offense.

Wilmot’s Chris Nelson ran for 67 yards and passed for 198 yards, including one touchdown pass. Greg Steffens led Waterford with 120 yards rushing.

n Westosha Central 42, Union Grove 21—Aaron Fincher rushed for 221 yards a three touchdowns as Westosha Central (1-2) got its first win of the season in a Southern Lakes opener at Union Grove.

Teammate Tyler Stoxen added 138 yards rushing and a touchdown in the Falcons’ 383- yard rushing attack.
