Beloit swims past Parker

BELOIT — Janesville Parker posted three first-place performances, but host Beloit Memorial rolled to a 103-678 victory Friday in Big Eight Conference girls swimming.

Sara Gosline won the 500 freestyle in 6 minutes, 20.52 seconds to edge Taylor Ingolia-Brown, who took second in 6:20.62.

Parker’s Leslie Jones won the 100 backstroke in 1:10.76, and teammate Rachel Perkins won the 100 breaststroke in 1:24.17.

Parker (0-2) swims at 5 p.m. Friday at Madison East.
