Tyler places 3rd, leads Janesville Parker boys

Janesville Parker’s Dane Tyler finished third in the boys race to lead the Viking performances in the Oconomowoc Nature Hill Challenge cross country event Thursday.

Tyler finished the course in 18:09.37. Josh Sarna of Kettle Moraine was the boys winner in 17:34.43.

Parker finished seventh among the 10-team boys field. Kettle Moraine was the boys champion with 46 points. Delavan-Darien was ninth.

Miranda Slaback was the top Parker finisher in the girls race. The junior came in 21st in 18:26. Molly Seidel of University Lake School was the girls champion in 14:19.93.

The Vikings came in ninth in the 10-team field. Oconomowoc won the girls title with 40 points.
