A voice on Janesville area radios for 47 years will leave the microphone for the last time next week. WCLO morning show host Bob Dailey managed a group of radio stations for Bliss Communications for much of his career, while maintaining an announcing schedule. A lot has changed since Dailey started in radio in 1964, but he says he hopes the future of radio remains live and local.

Dailey served as Vice President and General Manager of Southern Wisconsin Broadcasting and says he will remain involved in radio. His last sign off will be next Wednesday.

He and his wife plan to stay in Janesville.

A story about Dailey and his career will be in Sunday's Janesville Gazette.
