Janesville Parker’s Ross named Big Eight Coach of the Year in golf

In her second season as Janesville Parker’s girls golf coach, Mary Ross led the Vikings to a Big Eight Conference dual meet co-championship.


Parker finished 8-1 and shared the title with Verona.


Ross, along with Verona’s Bailey Hildebrandt, has been named the Co-Coach of the Year.


Parker sophomore Lindsey Ahrens has been named to the All-Big Eight second team, along with Janesville Craig junior Ashley Hermanns.


Parker senior Taylor Utzig received honorable mention.


Verona freshman Jessica Reinecke, the conference tournament medalist, heads the five-player first team.
