-- MATTHEW A. BURR, 26, of 819 Oriole, Janesville, at 7:45 p.m. Saturday on charges of operating while intoxicated and causing injury. He also was cited for hit and run at South Main and Carrington Streets when a 6-year-old was injured and taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, for treatment of minor injuries.

-- CHRISTOPHER R. SCOTT, 26, of 8331 E. County A, Janesville, at 3:01 a.m. Saturday on Highway 14, near East Racine St., Janesville.
-- RYAN H. BENNETT, 22, of 3262 Riverside Drive, Beloit, at 2:36 a.m., Sunday, at the intersection of South Parker Drive and East Milwaukee St. Bennett’s vehicle was parked and when he attempted to leave the parking stall, he backed into a vehicle. This is reported as his second offense.
-- WILLIAM M. JONES, 35, of 2006 S. Terrace St., Janesville, at 1:51 a.m. Sunday at West Court Street and South Crosby Ave., Janesville.
-- INJURY at 12:36 p.m. Sunday at a Milton Township farm, on North Serns Road, Milton. A woman in her 50s was bucked off the horse she was riding and taken to Edgerton Hospital and Health Services, where she was listed in stable condition, according to a Milton Fire Department spokesman.
-- BURGLARY reported at 2:51 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of East Milwaukee Street, Janesville. Taken were an Apple cordless keyboard and computer tower, a 32-inch flat screen TV, quilt and clothes hamper valued at $680.
-- SUBSTANTIAL BATTERY WITH INTENT TO CAUSE BODILY HARM reported at 11 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Laramie Lane. A 24-year-old man physically assaulted his girlfriend.
-- BRUSH FIRE at 12:39 p.m. Sunday. A controlled burn got out of control in a picked cornfield, 7866 N. Honeysuckle, Fulton Township. Edgerton firefighters used 600 gallons of water to extinguish the fire along with a neighbor who plowed up the field of corn stubble.
