Jets defeat Traverse City

Two third-period goals and Tony Kujava’s goal-tending lifted the Janesville Jets to a 2-0 victory at Traverse City in North American Hockey League action Saturday night.

The victory keeps the Jets undefeated at 10-0-1.

Connor McBride scored on a power play 8:04 into the third period, and Jordan Bancroft added an insurance goal six minutes later to provide the Jets their goals.

Kujava did the rest, stopping 19 shots for the shutout, dropping Traverse City to 5-4-3.
