AT&T Director of External Affairs Tricia Conway presented a check totalling $3500 to Project 16:49 Monday morning at the YWCA of Rock County.

Conway says Project 16:49 compliments AT&T's mission to help improve high school graduation rates. Project 16:49 is a group of service providers and volunteers helping make services available to the almost 900 teen-agers in Rock County without a fixed address, with almost 200 of those having no caregiver at all.

The money will go to help fund transportation for teens who are completely on their own, so then can get to school or work.
