Middleton swims past Parker

JANESVILLE — Janesville Parker High School lost, 136-34, to visiting Middleton in Big Eight Conference girls swimming Friday.

Leslie Jones cracked the six-minute mark in the 500 freestyle, posting a 5:52.26 to highlight Parker’s effort. Also for Parker, Sara Gosline finished third (2:15.29) in the 200 freestyle and Hailey Leisten finished third (27.03) in the 50 freestyle.

Parker travels to the Rockford Auburn Invitational at 11 a.m. today.
