Danny Supernaw accounted for 287 total yards, and Justin Held rushed for 182 yards as Delavan-Darien High School defeated Westosha Central, 44-28, in Southern Lakes football Friday night.


The Comets (3-2 in the Lakes, 4-3 overall) had 469 yards of total offense. The Falcons (2-3, 2-5) had 416 yards.


Held scored on runs of 21 and 27 yards en route to his 182 yards.


Supernaw threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 92 yards and two other scores.


Marcus Hudson caught eight passes for 125 yards and two scores covering 12 and 10 yards.


Jason Castona had five catches for 116 yards for the Falcons.

n Badger 41, Elkhorn 14—Lake Geneva Badger jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and ran over host Elkhorn to remain unbeaten in the Southern Lakes.


Chris Walker rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns, while teammate Ed Ruzga added 81 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Badgers improved to 5-0 in the conference and 6-1 overall.


Elkhorn’s Chris Fryman threw for 119 yards and one touchdown, but the Elks fell to 0-5 in the conference and 1-6 overall.

n Wilmot 52, Burlington 35—After last week’s loss to Lake Geneva Badger, once-beaten Wilmot was back in command at Burlington and remained in a tie for second place in the Southern Lakes.


The Panthers put up 32 points in the second half as they improved to 4-1 in the conference and 6-1 overall. Burlington fell to 1-4 and 2-5.


Chris Nelson, Ryan Gartner and Bennett Kothe each scored two touchdowns for Wilmot. Matt Christensen of the Panthers caught a touchdown pass.


Ty Dennis and Ross Canales each scored twice for Burlington. Jayden Essman had the Demons’ other touchdown.
