Rock County Fury falls to Kettle Moraine

— The Rock County Fury fell hard to visiting Kettle Moraine, 9-1, Tuesday in nonconference girls hockey.

Haley Bayreuther, a Janesville Craig High School senior, scored the Fury’s lone goal at 7 minutes, 51 seconds in the first period. Kettle Moraine took a 4-1 lead into the second period.

“Kettle Moraine is definitely the better team,” Fury coach Darrel Moore said. “You can tell their girls have dedicated themselves to being a good hockey team this year.’’
