The Janesville Bluebirds continue to be road warriors.

Janesville’s high school co-op hockey team improved to 4-0 on the season—all road wins—with a 5-3 nonconference victory over Oregon on Tuesday night.

Tanner Woodman had a hat trick, and Michael MacDougall picked up the win in goal.

“We took advantage of a late power play set up by our third line, and our first line went out and scored,” Janesville coach John Mauermann said. “And Michael really did a nice job when he came in for us at goalie.

“Oregon came back and tied the game on us in the third, but we found a way to get out of here with a win. We’ll take it.”

Janesville hosts Big Eight Conference favorite Verona on Thursday night in the home opener at 7 p.m. at the Janesville Ice Arena
