UW-Whitewater men's basketball remains unbeaten

The winning ways continued Sunday for the UW-Whitewater men’s basketball team.


Chris Davis had 29 points, and the Warhawks pulled away early en route to a 87-76 nonconference win over Hamline University.


Whitewater (4-0) led 48-31 at halftime thanks to a 12-0 run.


Elkhorn High graduate Eric Bryson added 17 points for Whitewater, while Cody Odegaard chipped in 15.


The Warhawks host Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday in the home opener in the Kachel Gymnasium in the Williams Center.
