Two arrested after Thursday morning robbery

— Rock County deputies continue to investigate an early Thursday morning armed robbery, according to a department news release.

Taken into custody were:

-- Travis L. Quillen, 28, no fixed address, who was arrested on charges of recklessly endangering safety, robbery and battery.

-- Jon G. Fedkenheuer, 43, Sun Prairie, who was arrested on charges of armed robbery and battery. Fedkenheuer also was placed on a probation hold in conjunction with a previous armed robbery, according to the release.

An alleged heroin deal shortly after 2 a.m. in Union Township turned into a 10-mile chase before a vehicle carrying Quillen and Fedkenheuer allegedly ran the victimís vehicle off Holt Road near Crocker Road in Union Township, according to the release.

Thatís when Fedkenheuer and Quillen also allegedly assaulted the victim and threatened to use a knife and gun if he didnít turn over his wallet and cash, according to the release.

The incident ended in Brooklyn, where Dane County deputies turned the suspects over to Rock County deputies.

Both men are in custody at the Rock County Jail and are scheduled to appear in jail court at 4 p.m. Friday, the release said.
