Maddux to interview with Cubs today
CHICAGO Texas Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux is next up as the Chicago Cubs search for a new manager. Maddux is slated to interview today.

He became pitching coach of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2003, then took the same job with Texas before the 2009 season and has helped the Rangers win back-to-back AL pennants. The Cubs are also expected to interview Cleveland bench coach Sandy Alomar Jr.
