-- A 13-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at noon Monday at the Janesville Police Department on a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child. The boy is accused of assaulting his 6-year-old cousin in August.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- JEFFERY A. CROWLEY, 49, of 2027 Harrison Ave., Beloit, at 3:15 a.m. Monday at Pearl Street and Rockport Road in Janesville.
-- KIMBERLY J. MCKIBBEN, 52, of 707 Carol St., Clinton, at 11:59 a.m. Saturday at Highway 140 and Waite Road in Bradford Township.
-- BRANDON M. SCHULTZ, 29, of 35 E. Madison St., Milton, at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 59 east of Vincent Road in Milton Township. The arrest was listed as Schultz’s second on an intoxicated driving charge.
-- BURGLARY at 12:14 a.m. Oct. 22 to Cork and Bottle, 1418 W. Memorial Ave., Janesville. Two bottles of vodka were reported stolen. A burglary was reported Oct. 20 at the same address, but nothing was reported stolen at the time.
-- BURGLARY at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 1600 block of Sylvester Street in Janesville. Reported stolen were two televisions and jewelry.
-- BURGLARY at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of South Highway 51 in Rock Township. A television was reported stolen.
-- HIGHWAY 81 AND COUNTY H in Newark Township at 4:52 p.m. Friday. Jeremy T. Swanson, 36, was stopped at the sign while driving south on Highway 81. He entered the intersection, and his truck was struck by a vehicle driven west on County H by Consuelo B. Almanza, 21, of 1003 Centerway, Janesville. Almanza and a passenger, Spring M. Almanza, 17, South Beloit, Ill., were transported to Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit. Consuelo Almanza was treated and released from the emergency room. Spring Almanza’s condition was not available because she is a minor.
-- SEMITRAILER-TRUCK FIRE reported at 10:34 a.m. at 4029 N. County F, Janesville Township. A fire that started in the engine compartment fully engulfed the semitrailer tractor by the time Janesville and Milton firefighters arrived, said Mark Bobzien, acting lieutenant with the Janesville Fire Department. The tractor was a total loss, but the trailer, which was carrying PVC pipe, was undamaged, he said. The owner and driver, Kenneth L. Linck, 805 Hawthorne Ave., Janesville, estimated the loss at $15,000.
-- TWO 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOYS with burglary. The boys are accused of breaking into a home on June 7 in the 400 block of North Walnut Street in Janesville.
-- GARY S. WEBER, 44, 227 Ridge Creek Drive, Janesville, with one count of felony theft. He is accused of stealing wire from his employer and selling it for cash.
