Beloit Snappers begin road trip with nine-game losing streak

— The downward spiral continued Thursday afternoon for the Beloit Snappers.

Beloit managed only four hits in a 2-0 Midwest League loss to the Burlington Bees at Pohlman Field. The loss was the ninth straight for the Snappers.


Burlington got both of its runs in the top of the fourth inning off Beloit reliever Andrei Lobanov (0-5).


Beloit begins a four-game series at Clinton tonight.
