— Burlington held Beloit to two hits and shut out the Snappers, 9-0, in Midwest League play Tuesday.

Beloit has lost seven straight games.


A pair of four-run innings put the Bees (31-14) in command. The only hits the Snappers (21-24) managed were two infield singles from center fielder Wang-Wei Lin and first-basemen Michael Gonzales.
