— Jordan Bell was 2-for-3, including a home run, to lead Orfordville Parkview’s softball team to a 7-4 nonconference win over Janesville Parker here Friday.

Parker (4-17) scored single runs in the first three innings, but could not put together a late rally.

“Coming off a win, I thought we would come out with a little more enthusiasm and spark today,” Parker coach Jenni Seisser said. “We did score in the first three innings, but we were still a little flat.”

Bell homered in the third inning to make it 5-2, but the Vikings cut the lead to two in the bootom of the inning.

Kayce Chesebro had a double and a triple for Parker, while Natalie McDonald added a triple.

Parker wraps up the Big Eight and regular season at Beloit Memorial on Tuesday.
