Wildcats top Janesville Craig, Parker shut out

— Janesville Craig’s girls soccer team played Verona to a

0-0 tie in the first half Tuesday before falling 3-0 to the Wildcats in a Big Eight Conference match.


Goalkeeper Amanda Hamilton had 12 saves for the Cougars (9-8, 3-4).


“We had our chances early,” said Craig High coach Bill McCabe. “We tried to finish a cross on the near post, and we missed it. It just didn’t go in.”


Craig next hosts Sun Prairie at 7 p.m. Thursday.
