— Janesville Craig’s girls soccer team blanked Evansville, 2-0, in a nonconference game Tuesday.

Sarah Gray and Kayleah Wright scored goals as the Cougars improved to 9-6 overall.

“We moved the ball pretty well and controlled play,” Craig High coach Bill McCabe said. “We’re still a work in progress in some areas, but we’re getting better.

“Our biggest problem right now is finishing and putting the ball in the net. But a lot of teams have that problem.”
