Janesville Craig golfers sweep Big Eight triangular at Beloit, Parker splits

— Janesville Craig swept a triangular Monday in Big Eight Conference boys golf at the Beloit Country Club.

Craig defeated Madison Memorial, 332-334, while Beloit Memorial carded a 339. The Cougars improve to 3-2 in the conference.


Jordan Moss shot an 82 for Craig. Ryne Clatworthy and Jordan Gagg each had an 83, while Tanner Woodman added an 84.


Madison Memorial’s Peter Webb carded an 8-over-par 79 for medalist honors.


The Cougars travel to the Beloit Invitational on Friday and play in the Ashenfelter Invitational on Saturday at Riverside Golf Course.

Parker splits triangular

Janesville Parker split a Big Eight Conference boys golf triangular Monday at the Janesville Country Club.


Parker High defeated Sun Prairie, 365-368, but lost to Madison West, which posted a 345 to sweep the match. Parker is 2-4 in Big Eight matches.


Peyton Graham carded an 88 for Parker’s best round. Dustin Richard fired an 91, Tyler Brossard had a 92, and Charlie Grafft a 94.


West’s Ricky Howard carded a


7-over-par 79 for medalist honors.


The Vikings play in the Beloit Invitational on Friday and the Ashenfelter Invitational at Riverside on Saturday.
