Woman gets year in robbery trial

— Shelby Kaelber, 21, of Kenosha has pleaded guilty to being an accomplice to armed robbery on accusations that she bought the BB gun used in the Aug. 31 holdup of the First Bank Center in Bloomfield Township.

Kaelber was sentenced to a year in Walworth County Jail with Huber privileges for prenatal and child care, according to court records.

The gunman, Jeremiah Ward, 23, of Genoa City is serving a 13-year prison term. David C. Allen, 24, of Kenosha, also was charged as an accomplice. He is accused of driving the get-away car. A court hearing is set for Allen on March 23.
