-- RUGER L. FISCHER, 20, of 2102 S. Grant St., Janesville, at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Sheriff's Office on a charge of possession of a firearm by certain persons.

-- A 58-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE MAN, on charges of keeping an unlicensed dog and letting the dog run at large. At 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, a pit bull ran out of an apartment in the 1300 block of Jerome Avenue and bit a neighboring Yorkshire terrier. The terrier died. The pit bull has been removed from the neighborhood.


-- FIRST-DEGREE RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING SAFETY, FALSE IMPRISONMENT AND STRANGULATION reported at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Rockport Road, Janesville. A woman told police her ex-husband choked her and threatened her with a firearm. She said she managed to escape.

-- FORGERY reported at Walgreens, 1933 W. Court St., Janesville. A man reportedly brought in a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone.

-- CLAYTON M. ROTHENBUEHLER, 23, of 424 W. Holmes St., Janesville, misdemeanor criminal damage to property and unlawful use of phone to threaten harm, nine months in jail with Huber with credit, $961 restitution, $149.

-- FREYA R. GRAF, 35, of 944 Euclid Ave., Beloit, formerly of Janesville, charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct and felony bail-jumping all dismissed but read into court record.

-- BENTLEY M. GELDARD, 20, of 3919 Southwyck Court, Janesville, misdemeanor causing injury while operating while intoxicated first violation, 18 months probation, 16 months driver's license revocation, $1,424. Charges of felony hit and run involving injury and misdemeanor causing injury while operating with prohibited blood-alcohol concentration both dismissed but read into court record.

-- CHARLES L. MOREHEAD, 50, of 154 S. Academy St., Janesville, felony possession of marijuana second or more violation, 90 days in jail, $268.

-- CHAD N. WEBB, 26, of 1315 E. Racine St., Janesville, felony misappropriate identification information to avoid penalty, felony substantial battery, misdemeanor criminal damage to property, felony bail-jumping, three years in prison with credit, three years extended supervision, $3,881 restitution, $602. Charges of criminal trespassing to dwelling and disorderly conduct both dismissed but read into court record.

-- JERARD A. EDWARDS, 18, Janesville, charge of felony attempted armed robbery amended to felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, four years in prison, five years extended supervision.

-- MEGAN M. BUCK, 19, of 3916 Rugar Ave., Janesville, misdemeanor criminal damage to property, $547.

-- SAMANTHA J. MADES, 22, of 304 Madison St., Lower, Janesville, misdemeanor party to receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, $641.

-- NICHOLAS J. OVANS, 22, of 3053 Palmer Drive, No. 19, Janesville, possession of drug paraphernalia, $362.

-- AMY J. MATHEWS, 30, of 303 N. Terrace St., Janesville, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing, $1,275.
