Kiwanis group names 'Truck on Ice' winners
His guess earned him $3,000, according to the group.
A clock that stops inside the truck when it hits the water indicated the truck sank at 1:03 p.m. Feb. 18. The clock was read after the Suburban shell was pulled from the water Tuesday morning.
Eakens of 1424 Liberty Lane, Janesville, guessed the truck would sink at 1:05 p.m. Feb. 18. Sixty-three others also chose Feb. 18.

Woodridge Drive; Jim Flister, 419 S. Milton-Shopiere Road; Amy and Jerry Denson, 1301 Gartland Ave.; Jon Cramer, serving abroad in the military; Al O'Leary, 3902 Southwyck Court, all of Janesville.
Enough tickets were sold to raise almost $17,000. Proceeds help children in the Janesville area, according to Pete Kealey and Bob Johnson, event co-chairmen.
