Public union workers and their supporters don't appear ready to give up on their collective bargaining rights.

A crowd gathered Sunday afternoon at the Rock County Courthouse to rally support against the governor's recent actions regarding the budget, and to sign up volunteers for upcoming recall efforts.

State Senator Tim Cullen of Janesville was a popular favorite with the crowd, which repeatedly chanted, "Thank you". Cullen identified the basic concern. He says it's about who will rule, the people or the money. Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden took a moment at the microphone to reinforce the civility of the protests.

Many of those in attendence say they plan to keep up the pressure through the next election.
