Intoxicated-driving arrests

-- ZACHARY L. SPANGLER, 20, of 2621 Harvard Drive, Apt. 8, Janesville, at 1:32 a.m. Sunday at Centerway and Main Street in Janesville.


-- MICKEY R. PLOOF, 33, of 1166 N. Parker Drive, Janesville, at 9:21 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of North Parker Drive in Janesville.


-- CLAYTON T. MARA, 20, of 3738 W. County A, Janesville, at 1:53 a.m. at 2817 Affirmed Drive in Janesville. Mara’s vehicle struck a parked car and a mailbox on Affirmed Drive, according to police reports.


-- LISA M. STEPHENS, 40, of 1210 Sylvester St., Apt. 2, Janesville, at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Glen Street and Parker Drive in Janesville. The arrest was listed as Stephens’ fourth on an intoxicated-driving charge.


Accidents

-- OAKHILL AVENUE AND CONDE STREET at 9:17 p.m. Friday, June 17, Richard G. Zarnstorff, Sr., of 2417 W. State St., Janesville, was driving north on Oakhill and turning left onto Conde when his car struck a bicycle ridden by Scott L. Mordecai, 44, of 2118 S. Marion Ave., Janesville. Mordecai was riding south on Oakhill and turning right onto Conde. The bicycle’s light was not on, according to police reports. Mordecai was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Mordecai was cited for operating a nonmotorized vehicle without a light.

-- BURGLARY at 10:26 a.m. Saturday to a home in the 3300 block of Berkshire Drive in Janesville. Two bolt-action rifles were reported stolen from a vehicle.
