Milton Raptors roll past Braves

— The Milton Junction Pub Raptors destroyed the Farmington Braves, 15-0, Sunday in Rock River South baseball.

Tom Scalissi led Milton’s 19-hit assault with a triple and a home run. Zach Bayreuther and Josh Shere had pair of double apiece.

Milton starter Joe Shere notched 14 strikeouts in six innings and did not issue a walk.

“We knew we were going to win this game,” Raptors coach Doug Welch said. “We had to win because it keeps us tied for third in the league race.’’
