— The Beloit Snappers go into the Midwest League all-star break playing their best baseball of the season.

Four Snapper pitchers limited Burlington to four hits Sunday in a 5-1 Western Division win. Beloit has won 11 of its last 13 games heading into the break and is in the thick of the first-half wild-card race.

Beloit is off until Friday when it hosts Cedar Rapids at Pohlman Field.
