— The U.W. Rock County is one of six U.W. campuses launching a new Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences.

U.W. Rock County Interim Dean, Kim Kostka, says the degree is timely and relevant to today's adult students. The degree is designed to help pace-bound adult learners obtain a bachelor's degree in their communities. It includes such innovations as credit for prior experiential learning.

The degree could be offered as early as the fall of 2012.
