The State Department of Tourism has awarded the Janesville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau a $10,000 Joint Effort Marketing Grant.

Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Christine Rebout says the money will be used to advertise a three day "Art Infusion" festival along the "Janesville Mile" this summer. Rebout says the event builds off of last year's "Chalk Walk". This year the event will include street performers.

She hopes to attract 5000 people and $250,000 in economic impact for the event September 16, 17, and 18.
