Three-run homer helps lift Fort Wayne past Beloit

Jake Blackwood’s three-run homer in the seventh inning led Fort Wayne to a 9-5 victory over Beloit at Pohlman Field in Midwest League action Tuesday night.


Daniel Santana hit a solo shot for the Snappers in the fourth.


It was the first game of a 10-game homestand for the Snappers, who fell 3.5 games back of a playoff spot.
