— The Beloit Snappers were the victims of Bowling Green’s walk-off day in Midwest League baseball.

Phillip Wunderlich’s single with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning drove in the winning run Sunday as the Hot Rods raced past the Snappers in a 2-1 thriller.

Hector Guevara had a leadoff double and scored the winning run.

Beloit took a 1-0 lead in the eighth after Gunner Glad’s one-out single. With Jamaal Hawkins batting, a throwing error on an attempted pickoff enabled Glad to score.

Bowling Green tied it in the ninth on Julio Cedeno’s leadoff home run.

After an off day today for the Midwest League, the Snappers open a three-game home series against Fort Wayne at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
