— It turns out that the management of Janesville radio station WCLO didn’t need to look far to find a new host for the station’s weekday morning talk show.

Tim Bremel—the station’s program director—was named Monday to fill the 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. slot vacated most recently by Dan Conry and previously by Stan Milam and Ken Regez.

The show, “Your Talk Show,” will focus on local topics and guests and involve caller participation. It will continue to be produced by Rose Stricker, who will take calls and participate in conversations with callers and guests.

Bremel has been with Bliss Communications since 1987, serving in all aspects of broadcasting from being on-air, copywriting, programming and marketing. He also serves as the promotions director for both WCLO and WJVL.

He will offer opinions on local, state and national issues, said Mike O’Brien, the stations’ general manager.

“Tim understands the brand of radio that is most relevant to our audience,” O’Brien said. “His broad breadth of topics and openness to involving more people in ‘Your Talk Show’ will naturally attract more listeners.”

Bremel and his family lived in Janesville for several years before buying a home in Orfordville.
