-- A 14-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY, at 11:50 a.m. Thursday at Edison Middle School, Janesville, was referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of felony battery. The boy is accused of striking another boy, knocking out a tooth.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- HEATHER L. HESS, 38, of 1319 Maple Ave., Janesville, at 1:13 a.m. Wednesday at Elizabeth Street and Miller Avenue, Janesville.
-- COUNTY A EAST OF HENKE ROAD, Harmony Township. At 7:35 a.m. Monday, a dump truck driven by William D. Fanning, 43, of 4621 E. Wilcox Road, Janesville, and a car driven by David Cruz Carrera, 28, of 846 Kellogg Ave., No. 2, Janesville, collided. Cruz Carrera was ticketed for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating without a valid license. Cruz Carrera also was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.
-- CHARLEY BLUFF ROAD NORTH OF COUNTY N, Milton Township. At 5:54 p.m. Sunday, a sport utility vehicle driven by Nicole M. Gauss, 28, of 1228 Blaine St., Edgerton, went off the road and struck a pole. Gauss was ticketed for operating while intoxicated and driving too fast for conditions. Gauss was treated and released from Mercy.

Additional charges of 1 counts of felony burglary to building or dwelling, one counts of felony party to burglary to building or dwelling, four counts of felony theft of movable property, three counts of misdemeanor theft of movable property all dismissed but read into court record.
-- JOSEPH N. JONES, 51, of 430 Harrison Ave., No. 303, Beloit, formerly of Janesville, domestic disorderly conduct, 20 days in jail with credit, $80. Charge of disorderly conduct dismissed but read into court record.
-- JENNIFER L. SPORS, 20, Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Janesville, obstructing, $505. Charges of misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct all dismissed but read into court record.
