— Janesville Craig High School’s gymnastics team offered up a season-best Thursday night.

The Cougars scored 140.025 points in beating Madison Memorial, 140.025-128.125, in a Big Eight Conference dual meet.

Becky Schneider won vault and balance beam, as well as the all-around, to lead the Cougars.

“It was a good bounce back meet for us,” Craig High coach Jean Welch said. “Becky had a nice meet, and Courtney Pohlman did a really nice job.

“Our score was our highest this season, so that was a good sign.”

Craig High will host Madison La Follette/East on Wednesday night.
