Low-to-moderate income residents in Edgerton may now have a better chance to properly maintain their home thanks to federal Community Development Block Grant funds.

City Administrator Ramona Flanigan says the $650,000 will help dozens of families properly fix things like furnaces and roofs.

Flanigan says the money will be part of a revolving loan fund, so dozens of families will benefit in the next few years.
