Man hurt in accident in good condition

— An Edgerton man is in good condition at University Hospital in Madison after an accident Tuesday morning at Baker Manufacturing, 133 Enterprise St.

Joshua Fugate, 27, is being treated in the burn unit at University Hospital, a family member told the Gazette.

Emergency responders were called at 7:44 a.m. to the manufacturer, according to Rock County Communications.

Evansville police and fire plus a Janesville Fire Department ambulance were called to the scene, where Med Flight also was requested. A helicopter landed in the business parking lot at 8:16 a.m. to transport one patient, the dispatcher said.

No other information was available.

Baker Manufacturing was founded in 1873 and makes iron custom castings for automotive, marine, and agricultural markets, rotary gear pumps for fluid pumping applications and produces water system products for residential and municipal applications.
