A Stoughton man has pleaded guilty in Rock County Court to bank robbery.

Charles Aegerter Sr. is accused of walking into the Bank of Edgerton last October and pretending he had a bomb. His defense attorney says Aegerter is taking responsibility for his actions, and "underlying issues" will likely come out during sentencing. Those underlying issues could include the loss of his general motors job, a home mortgage in jeopardy, and his son being murdered in Janesville last summer.

Sentencing is set for April.
